Customers loosing out

I always buy my Lancôme Cosmetics from Woolworths and get notified of any promotions via sms / e-mail. this time around I had no sms. I saw yesterday morning on a Woolies App that there is a 20%/ 25% discount on two cosmetic products. I went to Cresta branch to get my two Lancôme products, but only to find that they are out of stock and that yesterday(Sunday) was the last day of the promotion. I am very disappointed that I had to loose out due to 1) not getting my notification and 2) because there is no stock. Poor Customer relations!!!
