Customer service - WHAT service

Woolworths GlenGarry On Wednesday 3rd Oct with the store was extremely busy and a till queue stretching way back with many fully laden trollies – My wife who was in the queue had 1 (ONE) item There was a special on Potatoes 5 of the Woolworths cashiers were buying the potatoes on special and were all standing around one till A gentleman who seemed to be in charge was at table with some paper work was asked by my wife to arrange for more tills to be opened The first request was ignored. She made a second request – The gentleman then addressed the 5 cashiers mobbing the till with their potato purchasers without any result. Eventually with the 5 tills still closed my wife reached 3rd in the queue when a lady staff member very sarcastically said with less than 5 items she could go to the coffee shop counter . There was No sign of this arrangement visible anywhere As an out of towner she would not have known this. An extremely frustrating experience – NOT an iota of customer service
