Customer service lacking at the deli Gateway Durban branch

Hi there

Visited your Gateway branch, today 30/12/ 2025 at about 13:50looking for cooked for at the deli, which is located inside Woolworths the pie section, the lady was serving another customer but had to shout across at me that money and food don’t go together , I didn’t know what she meant but I informed her that I was getting the money ready to pay at the till to which she sarcastically responded by saying that’s not what we do here and I shouldn’t leave money on the counter, it’s embarrassing when customer service lack and discretion is sacrificed for bullish behaviour
