Customer always wrong!!!!!

I purchased a tray of chicken pieces(24) which was discounted with a sell by date on the day of purchase from Woolworths Kengsington Dr. Durban. We did not cook this chicken but chose to freeze it for another day but when we defrosted it we realised it did not have a good smell so I went back to woolworths Kengsington to return it for another pack but was told by, I think the manager its sell by date has expired and I cannot return it. This product must have been spoilt before freezing. So if you purchase a product from them and its sell by date is on the same day of purchase you cannot return it even if its spoilt. There is no information on the shelves or instore about this. So Woolworths loyal customer 0 Woolworths 1. Loyal Customer wrong this time.
