Creating unrealistic hope

Dear Woolworths team,

The Play and win competition is an exceptional initiative, thank you.

I do however think that the prizes have already been pre-selected for all clients.

So irrespective of the tile selection, the cash prizes, vouchers and appliances will not be won by the non- desired/selected clients.

Only the clients that has been pre-selected to win, or perhaps the VIP clients will win, irrespective of the tile chosen.

Giving hope to an average individual like myself is unpleasant. Since the Play and Win competition started, last year, all I have won was either a R150, R200 voucher, which should not be regarded as winning, because you have to purchase food or clothing worth R700.00 or R1000.00 etc. and the voucher is only valid for a certain number of days.

I have not yet entered this week's competition, but already know that the R100,000.00 cash prize or R50,000.00 gift voucher or the Kenwood mixer or skincare range will not be won by me. I will most probably get a R150.00 voucher of food/clothing limited to purchasing goods worth R700 or more valid for 14 days.
