COVID19 status had to be divulged to attain help at H/O

Im an ex employee at Woolworths and required my IRP5/ Tax Certificate as SARS needed it . I've been calling the head office from the 13th December 2020 and to say I'm disappointed and in dismay is an understatement . They couldn't find my records which was odd because I worked for the company just 3 years ago . I had to call the store and was given an email address for Clinton Baker . I emailed him and dololo response . I tried calling him and got his voice mail . I left a clear and descriptive message requesting my documents. He emailed me back saying I need to ask the store to send a request as I'm no longer an employee. I called the store for the third time and was told to email Clinton Baker again . I was furious as I was being sent from pillar to post . I eventually sent yet another email to Clinton telling him I would have gone to the store myself if I wasn't in isolation after testing positive for COVID19 . I had to divulge my health issues which are meant to private just so I could get assistance . Clinton then called me saying he will call the store and verify that I need my IRP5. I have never been so humiliated . I had to divulge sensitive information just to get assistance . Is this the "difference "Woolworths claims to have ? I am disgusted at the frivolity of the Payroll staff . Having disclosed my results was the only reason why Clinton called me back . I'm ashamed to be associated with the company . My right to dignity and privacy had to be infringed just so I could get documents that were due to me . I am already trying to be victorious in the fight against this deadly COVID 19 and to be treated in such a undignified manner was uncalled for . If I wasn't sick with Covid I wouldn't have received my IRP5.
