Could not swap point card because supervisor was not available

I was at the Woolworths westways Helderkruin just now 14:20 , I couldn't swap my points cash card because override was required , after waiting for about 6 minutes for a supervisor I decided to buy without swapping my card. Now I am asking myself why would a supervisor not attend to such requests.
