Costly monthly fees as of July 2024

Woolworths has started charging an account fee of R47.50 per month as of 1 July 2024. That's a lot of money for some us to just give away. We pay interest on the balance of our account so why this account fee as well. I have always supported this store but now that I'm forced to pay this monthly fee I would have to reconsider shopping there
