Cooked chicken actually RAW

On 17th August I bought, amongst other items, a cooked chicken from Woolworths in Langebaan. Preparing dinner that evening I found that the chicken was not fully cooked, the flesh being pink and raw. I recooked the chicken and thought it would be sensible to advise Woolworths of the health hazard.

Interestingly, there has been no response from Woolworths to my complaint (other than a computer-generated acknowledgement). They don't care, it would seem.

Not good enough. We - Woolies customers - pay a significant premium for our groceries because we trust their quality control. If they can't cook their chickens properly and are happy to take risks with my health it is time to move on.

We, thankfully, have choices.
