Woolworth's Cape Town Waterfront: To whom it may concern On 29/12/2018 i took my friend that were visiting Cape Town to Woolworth's in the Waterfront(Cape Town) There were items marked on sale with red stickers hanging on one side and there were items on rails with a red signs 50% discount plus 10% rewords discount. We took pants from the rails marked 50% and 10% but when we got to the till the lady said it was normal price and only red stickers was sale goods. I ask to speak to the manager and she said the same thing. I then took her to the rail that has the sign 50% and rewords 10% discount and showed her that none on the items on the rail had red stickers. I also pointed out that there was other rails with the same advert 50% and 10% reword discount that also had no red stickers hanging on the advertised discount rails. She then said it is the costumers that hanged it there. I found it very strange that costumers would hang items on that rails marked 50% and 10% discount. Maybe if it was one or two items in-between, but not all the rails mark with the advertised 50% and 10% discount. I told her that it, is not fair and if it is a mistake why is there then more than one of the same item hanging on the rails.(make no sense). She said she will get someone to fix it. Well she did not. Just before we went home, about two hours after i spoke to her, i went back to see if they fixed the so called rail. Needless to say, the same items and the one we did not take due to the fact that she said its not marked down (there was only one size 44 on the rail) was still on the rail marked 50% and 10% rewords discount. I do understand that costumers put items back on any rail, but this was not the case. So many unmarked close of the same brand, look and price on a discounted rail is just not the case. Any other store would see my point that it was not only one item, fixed the problem there and then and let me pay for the discounted price. The lady at he till told us that the client was complaining about that discounted rails the day before, on 28/12/2018. We visited the store on 29/12/2018. If this was a mistake, why was it not fixed 28/12/2019. I went back to the manager when i saw after two hours the rails was still the same and our item was just hanged back on that same rail, but she just kept quite and walked away. This type of miss-leading advertising is a disbarment to a client and if a manager say they will fix it and don't, it is plain disrespectful. To have visitors and have to stand at a till having a dispute is an embarrassment. Kindly sort out your stores. regards Mrs Stella Geldenhuys
