Come On Woolworths!

Woolworths is usually my go to shop to inspire me when I have to feed guests. Today I visited WW Victory Park and was delighted to see they had a special offer to buy 3 items - a crunchy vegetable stir fry, a stir fry sauce and egg noodles all for R65! But there were no egg noodles - only Ramen Noodles (same size) which didn't qualify for this special. I asked the packer if there were egg noodles at receiving/storage bay at the back. There were none. So I asked to see the Manager to see if I could take the Ramen noodles as part of the special. No I cant take them as part of the special offer but maybe there will be egg noodles tomorrow or I can take the Ramen noodles but the special offer falls away on 3 for R65! That certainly was no solution as I really wanted to benefit from the special offer. I decided to abandon my half filled trolley and not complete my shopping at a store that wasn't prepared to find a solution and made trying to find something else for my guests tonight, my problem. I went to Pick and Pay in the same Centre and Lo and behold they had exactly the same offer but for R60 for the same 3 items and 1 better they offered a selection of noodles including vegetable noodles. I filled my trolley with all the items plus that I had left in the WW trolley which came to around R700. I will think twice now before doing any shopping at WW - sorry guys -Find solutions to Problems and if you have a special offer for 3 or however many items - make sure you have them all in stock. I am sure every little bit of business counts
