Cheap quality clothes at high quality prices

Woolworths used to have a reputation for quality, but I have been incredibly disappointed lately with the cheap quality of their clothing. I bought 3 items on the recent January sales. One item (a pink David Jones t-shirt) faded to beige the first time it was ever washed. Another item (a pair of linen trousers) shrank each time it was washed until now (after only 3 washes) it is no longer wearable. Both of these items were washed following the instructions on the label. That means that two out of three items bought at Woolworths recently could only be worn a couple of times before being thrown out. Considering the price tag on these items (even at sale prices) that just isn't worth it. We are better off shopping at Jet, where at least the clothing lasts a few months!
