Changing my card to "contactless tap to purchase" without my permission - BREACH OF SECURITY.

Today I was informed via SMS that my card is now "contactless". "Tap to purchase". What in the hell were you thinking, doing this without my permission? So anyone that gets a hold of my card will be able to go on a shopping spree? I did NOT consent to this and I see this as GROSS negligence to my credit card security. I am not happy. I am settling and closing this account by month end.
