Cellphone Repair

I'm disappointed at the service given to my mother by Your cellphone department, in March she took her phone to the store in Eastgate mall for repairs it had problems with the speaker, she was sent to ther service provider (Vodacom) there she's told they can't repair it she has to buy another phone. Please help me understand where is she going to get the money to buy another phone
