Caterpillar Worms in Woolworths Packaging
I am disgusted of the quality of products provided by Woolworths. My family shops regularly at Woolworths because of the standards and quality we receive from a big retailer such as Woolworths. But unfortunately it disgust me when i find a green worm looking like a caterpillar in the mint we bought at the store. I ALWAYS rinse my vegetables, does not matter whether it is pre-washed etc, but we as a customer pay a pretty penny at Woolworths. We spend over R2000 weekly and this is the type of **** we received. This worm literally is dead, but it numb my tongue. I had to use an antihistamine and it went away. I need to get myself and my family deworming tablets to be on the safe side. If a company like Woolworths ever sell products to the public, they need to make 100% sure it is a product people can trust because its a Woolworths brand. I feel like people need to be aware of this and have taken pictures of the worm and the product to make sure that what they are purchasing is something safe. Washing it thoroughly does not even help. This worm basically clinged on the leaves of the mint.... I am very disappointed. My family will have to look at other alternatives to make sure we safe.
