Car was badly damaged by trolley

I drove to Woolworths in Hout bay and parked my car. As I went to open the car door it was very windy, a trolley came wheeling towards my car at speed andsc****d along the whole side of the car causing damage up every side panel. The force was so strong that it gave me such a fright, if I had of steped out of the car a moment earlier the trolley would have hit me!

I was very shaken up and went directly into Woolworths to speak to the manager. My car was badly damaged and I expected that Woolworths would be resposible for repairing the damage at the very least.

The manager took my details and said he would call me back the next day. I was phoned by another department the next day who said that Woolworths takes no responsibility for this and ther would be no compensation for the damage! I told the person on the other end of the phone that I was not happy with this outcome and would like to speak to his superior or manager. He assured me that someone would phone me back but I never heard from them again.

I am now driving my car around wth huge damage down one side. It was a beautiful car and is now ruined by this damage. I feel that a comany as big as Woolworths should protect its customers. I shop at Woolworths regularly and support their business, surely they should protect and look after there loyal customers!
