Call Centre Agent named Xolani drops a phone on me

Last week I received a call from a call centre agent, who called himself Xolani. He first thanked me for my continued support and for bieng a loyal customer, then offered me a credit card. While I was calmely explaining that I work for a finamcial institution and get this facility relatively cheaper, he droped his line on me. This bad treatment of potential customers has become popular and is growing. We get same treatment from call centre agents who first call us without our consent and start selling products, as soon as you refuse to buy the product, they drop lines on potential customers. I have supported woolworths for many years, but call your centre agents have bad attitude (maybe just this one rotten potatoe but he still represents your organisation). They alone will sure bring your profits down. I am done with woolworths. I logged a call and via the Credit Card area and someone spend sometime with me and promised that the team leader will deal with this matter and get this individual to call me and apologise, and I never heard from them again. Perhaps it is something that staff is learning from team leaders or there is lack of consequence management.
