Burger Patties tasted like dog food

I bought your extra thick x 8 burger patties (eat in special) last week 18 Sept 2015 and was so embarrassed - as they tasted like dog food . I had guests over to see the bokke play rugby against Japan and decided to make burgers. After cooking them and no fat d********** like usual when grilling - they tasted awful and seemed to be processed or not real meat ???? so I went to get the packaging out of the dustbin to see if I had missed the small print . but the ingriedients said 80% beef 13 % water .....nothing indicating that they would taste worse than a frozen pattie and somehow different to the normal woolies burger patties.
