Broken trust

I was assisted by a cosmetics lady at Woolworths at The Grove. I was looking for a male perfume and she recommended a Versace perfume. I then bought the perfume and it was a gift. It only appeared to the recipient that it was a female fragrance. I then went to the store to exchange it and they refused stating that there was no proof that it was from the store. I still had my receipt with me and the consultants said that I could have easily brought street counterfeit perfume to them. I am extremely dissaponted as I spent R1500 on a gift that cannot be exchanged and for those consultants to offend me by claiming that I am a ***** that wants to give them **** perfume is uncalled for.
