Broken tooth after eating at Woolworths Cafe Bedford Center

A few months ago I ate a meal at Woolworths Cafe Bedfordview. There was a hard broken piece of plastic in my meal that I bit into resulting in my tooth breaking and the loss of a filling. The management took my details and said they would call me back to resolve the matter. I have yet to receive that call, in the meantime, I emailed customer care, and of course, they took weeks to respond. I finally received a response that promised an R300 Woolworths voucher and my dentist bill to be covered by Woolworths. Of course, I have yet to receive the voucher or hear back about the dentist bill. Emails are ignored, management didn't once follow up with me after the incident and no accountability has yet to be taken by Woolworths. Rather disappointed, as customer care seems to be the least of their concern. The Woolworths Cafe at Bedford Center should have taken more responsibility towards the matter, management's lack of effort is quite concerning as I don't believe customer health and safety is in their best interest. Woolworths should reconsider placing people in positions of authority if they don't have the knowledge, care or ability to be in those positions. Incompetence doesn't grow businesses.
