Black customers are seen as potential ******s

On our way frm work, our boss (a white man) asks us to accompany him into woolworths for his grocery, there were five of us (black guys) plus our boss that makes 6 in total. Within 10 minutes, a lady (whose name tag read 'Valencia' calls out her collegues from the staff room and also gives a heads up to others in the store that we are going to rob the store. She says this loudly too (that's how we heard her). So while we are busy shopping inside we had almost everyone's eyes fixed on us. This led to other customers to be suspicious of us as well...now this brings me to the question: are Woolworths employees ordered to label and treat black skinned customers as *********?
