Bitter (possibly expired) and dry Rotisserie Chicken

Today a colleague and I purchased a Rotisserie Chicken from Woolworths on Dean Street in Cape Town. It was totally awful. The chicken was terribly dry and the green innards had been baked along with it so that the whole thing had a terrible and bitter taste. It was totally inedible and we ended up having to throw a majority of the chicken away. Really disappointing.
