Bad staff attitude

I came into the store (mtubatuba) on the 19th to exchange an item that was too small for my toddler, unfortunately without my knowledge my childminder had washed it( i later found out) the lady Noxolo at the till politely explained that it showed signs of being washed, Nothanda who wasnt even at the till took it upon herself to rudely insist that the item was washed, i then called the manager, who also compared the item to a new item and explained the reason for not exchanging the item, i then opted to return another item as it was a double deal and i had gotten a discount for purchasing 2 items. Noxolo and the manager again politely told me that she cant do a cash refund i had to take a gift card, which i refused, Nothando then decides to insert herself insisting ever so rudely that i cant get my refund in cash. I then insisted that i want refund in cash and the manager didnt argue but gave me my refund in cash. I would like to commend Noxolo and the manager yet i left disgusted by Nothandos attitude towards the matter as she was not even at the till i approached and her continued rude comments even after i had called the manager. At that point she should have let the manager do her job as she is trained to deal with such issues instead of giving attitude to customers ensuring that she leaves a bad taste in our mouths.
