Bad service woolworths Kenilworth Centre Kenilworth

On Tuesday at 17h53 about on the 9th March 2021 I went to woolworths and saw they had socks I like when I got to the till the cashier told my wife we can buy it because there is one pair short. I said it's fine then I saw a loose pack of the same socks and asked can I add it in the cashier said no it's from a different pack I told her but that is also short. So I asked to speak to the manager. A very unhelpful person who had to be called thrice by shouting from the till over the floor area of about 4m. Then the manager eventually came the cashier explained the problem. The manager then explained she can't sell it to us not even at a discount price because she will have to apply for a refund and she can't do that. I got the feeling that woolworths don't need business. To my understanding woolworths would rather not sell a item for a lower price but rather loose a sale and a customer. .
