Bad service recieved due to system errors that ended inconviniencing me and my kids and a the time the woolworths staff referred me to the process and never cared about the inconvinience they put me through
I went to Woolworths on the 20th of August to purchase goods and on the 21st I went back to return the goods because they were small. Instead of refunding the funds the teller then deducted the amount from my account. There and then I went back to them and they assured me I'll get my money back in a day. That day I was on my way to Johannesburg. The total amount that was now out of account was R1500 and I was inconvenienced. On the 23rd, one refund came in but the other one didn't. So I went to Woolworths in Sandton to report the problem again and the manager of Customer Service told me to return to the store in Bloemfonten to solve the problem. Already my kids were inconvinienced now because I couldn't make any payments for them. When I came back to Bloem I revisited the store I was told to go back to and I was told to bring my bank statement. The next thing is I come back only to find out I can't be helped. I'm told that my complaint has been lodged with Woolworths headquarters and I'll have to wait for Woolworths processes that will be seen to only tomorrow. My question is, in all this the customer has to abide with Woolworths processes not being considered that I am being inconvinienced by Woolworths. I asked them to refer me to where I should lodge a complaint and they couldnt help me. When I called Customer Care line they asked to speak with the manager, the manager explained what happened but the phone was dropped without me even explaining myself. The very same store manager couldn't answer any of my questions, she didn't know a matter as this is resolved in which manner. I walked out of the store still without my refund and with no resolution of any sort to my problem.
