Bad Service and 'Off' food

I went to Woolworths in Canal Walk yesterday to purchase food for dinner, i bought the prepacked prepared broccoli and cauliflower bake, a full chicken and a quater chicken.

Firstly, the service at the hot foods section is always below standard, so when i ordered my full chicken and quater chicken it didnt really bother me that i wasnt greeted or acknowledged, my chicken was basically just bagged and given to me.

I got home and opened up the veg bake, and it reeked, the veg at the bottom was also browning, i opened up the chicken and it was dry, it tased like it was made 2 days ago and was reheated a good couple of times.

There is 2 issues i have:

Number 1:

Convenience food is purchased to make your life easier, i have 7 month old twins and an 8 year old, i could not feed my family the food purchased at Woolworths which means that i had to cart all 3 of kids to my local grocer to purchase a decent meal for them, this takes exceptionally long if you have 2 babies, which means that my family had dinner at 8pm, instead of 6pm, which affects there routine, not to mention having 3 very hungry and miserable kids.

Issue 2:

I spent a total of R180 on the meal that ended up in my bin, and then had to spend another R200 replacing the meal, with our economy, you cannot waste money on grudge purchases, and this was definately a grudge purchase. Its safe to say that i will not be purchasing any of woolworths convenience meals as this has literally left a bad taste in my mouth.

Thanks for the huge inconvenience Woolworths!
