Bad Quality of Product and Poor Service

So on Friday 28 May 2021 i got to the Woolworths Store Langverwacht Plein in Kuilsriver to pay my account and buy a few things. I see a promo on Mielies ( Corn on the Cob ) 2 punnets of 4 for R40.00 which was already surprising to me that its such a good price and i check the date code so its not expired but short dated BB01.06.2021 which wasnt the issue as i was planning on making them over the weekend, i took 2 x punnets as i mentioned but as i get to the till i notice the plastic covering the Mielies looked slimmy if you can call it that. I then ask the guy in store why do they have products like this on the shelf , he looks at me and no reply , i was really in the mood for the Mielies i then decided to then just take the 1 pack which i thought was fine.On Sunday as i was preparing lunch i then notice the Mielies are actually mouldy at first i thought i could maybe cut the mould away but that wasnt a good idea as it was the whole Mielie that was mouldy in the inside.I then called the Store and explained the situation to the Store Manager , now may i add this is not the 1st time i go into this Store and there Veg looks old and then after i tell them they only then remove it from there coolers. So the Manager tells me he mite not be available by the time i will get there on Sunday but he will inform the Floor Manager Quinn about this. 1stly i must say these people have no customer service at all , they do not even know how to interact with customers/shoppers.No Courtesy i am asked are you taking a replacement of basically the same product. I said no and off we go they put my R26.99 on a gift card an d then i had to pay the difference of their other items i took. No Courtesy at all . I must honestly say Woolworths is dropping there Standards in all sense of the word i dont think i would want to go into that Store anytime soon.
