Bad experience at Waterfront V&A store
I bought a bag the 31 Nov 2017 and after returning at home got a letter from my childs school that i hv to pay fees which was not my responsibility. But to cut story short , I then decided to return the hand bag because i had to combine it to my child's fees oustanding. When i got to the store i had lost the slip because i thought i was throwing away my airtime slip but it was the actual slip of the item. They asked if i swiped My School card and bank card off which i provided them with, the store assistance at customer service checked and she then saw the item was bought there and i was back at the store the following day 1Dec 2017. She then says i cannot get my money back she will have to put it on a gift card. How is that when they can clearly see it was boughy cash n i had to beg for them to give me cash off which they didnt and told me about audit purposes offwhich im not against but this was barely even 24 hours of purchase and i know the policy states that after 60days you will then get gify card.
I dont have the slip i need the cash back and everything on the system shows i bought the hand bag there and still they insisted on a gift card story.
Please do something as i will take it further if something is not done. I dont know why woolworths staff think they own Woolworths, where as they are all employees acting like its their own store to treat you like trash infront of other customers...
I do not like how they handled things at all because everyone at customer service could hear my query and my childs fee problem that is such a disgrace and they need to be tought how customers are treated they have really changed.
Bag purchased was at Waterfront V&A on the 31 Nov 2017 price was R1799 i need that money to finish outstanding fees for my child.
Thanking you inadvance. Zandile Niyabo ********** 533
