Bad Customer Service and blurry lines on exchange items.

I recently purchased a pair of textured chunky tights from Woolworths , in store. You cannot try them on, so I followed the size guide and suffice to say when I go home I should have taken heed to another person who complained about the size because it did not fit. The receipt expressly states terms and conditions for exchange, now I am told tights are considered as underwear and cannot be returned, on the receipt they list underwear and exceptions like bras and bra tops , if you could not return tights why doesn't it say on the till slip or on the actual item itself ? I am dealing with a very *********** consultant Vuyokazi , who after sharing this information with and asking explanations for and expressly stating that if he couldn't assist me to refer me to a manager, had the audacity to send me a screen shot of categories of sleep wear and underwear online again not answering my question. Very unhelpful . Also the tights are priced very steep, which you understand because I don't mind paying for quality but I do mind when I'm being ********** for something I render useless and cannot use, do better Woolworths!
