Bad Customer service

I'm so disappointed with Woolworth, I don't think I'll buy anytime soon. So I called customer care as I had bought those smoked beef Vienna and dated the 27th as I always check the expiry date. I threw thwm away as they tasted funny and thought it's due to loadshedding and when I called I was told that when I go to the store I must produce the receipt, who keeps a receipt after making groceries??

Second incident, I bought my son sandals and lost the receipt. The sandals are big when I tie them and end up falling as his still a baby. I went to the store and told them my story and was willing to do an exchange and get boots or something as by summer they won't fit him. So I was told that they no longer have them in store so they can't exchange for me, really so it's a loss for me both Viennas and shoes? I want someone to call me asap on *** my personal email is *** and advise of a way forward as I'm really disappointed with this service and if it was a white person both issues would have been resolved quickly. If no one calls me I'll take this complaint further.
