BAD customer experience

Frustrating:

Spend +- R4k - R5k at WW per month.

Apply for WW credit card to consolidate spending - points / discount etc.

Get informed credit card application rejected - no reason given, and they will not give reason. Ask them to appeal as it makes no sense. They basically tell me not to bother, tell them to do it anyway. In the meantime do a TranUnion credit check on myself - comes back 100% clean.

Couple of days later receive phone call from WW saying application approved and to submit proof of income. I do this. Proceed to receive a phone call every day saying application is approved and that I must send proof of income - tell them it is sent. Keep on receiving call but now always silent on other end and then call drops. 12 day later - no call with respect to final approval. I call them. Informed that it has not been approved and still pending. I ask why, and is it possible to speak to someone from the appeal division? No this is not possible. Get frustrated with above and with endless meaningless call because there automated call system is too useless to deal with basic CRM, rejecting credit application (for no reason), and no real customer service to address something that is clearly an error on their side. Decide I don't want to deal with this incompetence and cancel the application.

My only problem now is I really like WW foods but in principle I don't want to shop there after this experience. Really expected better from company that is targetting your upper market. I don't even want credit - I would just preload the card with cash. Eugh. Nothing worse than a company with a brickwall call centre.

Maybe you should stick to what you know and just do Food.
