Bad client service - no response from the Bayside store

Good morning

Please allow me to express my dissatisfaction for pathetic service that we experienced in your Bayside Store.

We purchased items from woollies on the 15th February, and I was most disgusted with the service by Yolande Mbuqe’s.

We a family of five, standing in the queue waiting to be served. My two boys (age 12 and 6) used their pocket money to buy treats. Our son turned 6 yesterday and the eldest son (12) decided to buy him a treat and joined the queue, waiting to be served.

We (my husband and I and the 20 month old toddler) went ahead to the first available cashier, leaving the 2 in the queue. When the next till buzzed my son’s went up to the cashier ( Yolande) instead of being served she questioned them buy asking “where do they come from” and not willing to assist them. Her concern is more attending to the client behind them that also went to the same till (not willing to wait her turn) disregarding the fact the my kids are also clients. We were told we occupying 2 tills? really? Is this customer service? I understand if kids are unruly, and misbehaving but they decided to queue and wait their turn. Who gives Yolande the right to question and yes I understand if they “jumped” the queue. So do they question all clients when they approach their tills? Or just certain kids?

Where in your store is there a sign that says kids cannot not purchase and pay for items (2 chocolates) in other words, they don’t deserve to be treated as clients?

Woolworths advertises Quality service, going the extra mile, then you experience this?

Highly dissatisfied with the service.

Waiting for your reply.
