Bad attitude 😡

This evening I went to Woolworths to buy hipp organic cereal for my daughter. Did not find it on the shelve but there was Holle and was priced R67,45. When I got to the till the price scanned R72. 99. So I let the cashier know that I saw the cereal for R67.45. And we went back together to show her . The cashier called management to come and assist. When he got to the till he asked if I had I already payed and she said no. He then started explaining the policy that if I had already payed for it I would get it for free. Then I responded to say ohk but my time was wasted because I had to go back to the shelf and wait for him to come and correct their error while I left my 5 and half month old baby at home. And he rudely responded that his got nothing to do with my time he was just explaining the policy. I further told him that I’m not looking to get the cereal for free but no one asked him to stand there and waste my time and tell me had I let it be rung through I was going to get a full refund. And when I respond he responds rudely to me and tell me his got nothing to do with my time. If he did his job as management I would not have waited there for 15 mins for him to fix my error. I’m so upset I didn’t even get his name but I saw his badge said management. The cashiers name on my slip is mphurwana S.

I was at the New Redruth Woolworths branch.

When I left the cashier lady was nice and she even apologized for the inconvenience while the management sat there and gave me a look. He does not make Woolworths look good. I always shop there because it’s down the road from my house. He undermines people and I’m not happy at all.
