Arrogant manager

I usually buy veggies and groceries at Woolworths Savannah every second week. I bought cranberry juice and realised that it was off and had a lot of acid. 2 days ago I went to Savannah Mall Woolworth to return cranberry juice. On my arrival I was directed to the tills and I explained everything to the teller and she said I must go and get another juice. When I got back to the tills I found a different person (I believe she is the supervisor) she started telling me that I’m not allowed to return food due to COVID, I asked why wasn’t I told when I purchased because it was during the COVID. She rep**** by saying the food manager is called and will explain better to me. A lady that I believe was the food manager came ( I think her name is Mmakgole) she asked me what the problem was and I explained. Then she started asking me a lot of questions, at first I thought the questions were to find out what actually happened but I realised that the questions were trying to prove that I’m lying and that the juice was off because of my negligence. I didn’t not appreciate her tone, her attitude and her arrogance. Firstly I was rudely handled in front of other customers, I could’ve easily caused a scene but I didn’t because I didn’t want to give customers to stay away from Woolworths particularly Savannah mall. Secondly it was wrong of her to assume that I didn’t store the juice properly which resulted in it being faulty. I want to believe that Woolworths isn’t where it is because of assumptions. Thirdly I deserve to be treated with respect, the same smile I get when I purchase should be the same smile I get when I return a product. Being rude isn’t the only way to get the message across. If this is language she use to communicate with her staff maybe you should remind her that I’m bringing business to Woolworths and for that I desert be treated with respect. I hope you attend to this.
