Angry customer

I bought shoes in December which wer on sale and my son came back in February from holidays the shoes don't fit him at the store they said aren't able to help me the cashier was rude and said I must give them to someone which I didn't even want a refund I wanted to take another pair of shoes so my questions wat must I do with the shoes cos I bought them with my money?
