All round very disappointing experiences with Woolies

Gripes about Woolies - I wouldn't bother wasting my time writing this, but three things in a row made me want to let off steam: Went to their store in Blue Route Mall, Cape Town: a large store, with clothing and homeware as well as food. Saw some men's clothing and there was a large orange cardboard banner describing the clothing on a shelf, above the items the banner related to, which were on hangers below. The banner stated the price and advertised the items as being "100% cotton". I looked on the care label inside the items of clothing and the price corresponded...but the label made it clear they were 100% polyester. This is terrible, misleading product advertising. The attitude of the staff was "We'll bring it up at the meeting next week". ?!? How many customers are going to be duped into buying something advertised as pure cotton in the mean time ?!? Then I try to find an item I saw on promotion in that store, but online. It doesn't exist online. Normally the online catalogue is the most comprehensive. Complete waste of time, because someone couldn't be bothered to add it to the online inventory. Try to call a different store that sells the clothing line to check if they have that product - call three times, each time the 'phone rings for about 15 seconds and then the call is disconnected. So frustrating. And.....whilst I'm here: the 8 pack of croissants. Why do you feel it is necessary to pack them all into one large plastic bag, but also wrap each croissant individually in its own plastic bag. I though we were all conscious these days of terrible plastic waste and pollution - it is totally unnecessary to use this much plastic in packaging your food products generally, but this in particular is an egregious waste. You should know better. All in all, very disappointed with Woolies.
