Accounting / Financial agent rude and unprofessional!

Accounting / Financial agent from Woolworths , was rude and unprofessional!

Answered my mother's phone due to the fact that she was busy.

I was then greeted by a rude man, who asked to speak to my mother. I told him that she was busy, to which he rep****; when is she going to pay the account. I rep****, that we are "getting dressed" ; and will pay it today, and that we are on our way.

1. He asked to speak to her again, to which I rep**** , ONCE AGAIN that she was busy .

2. He then again asked to speak to her, and my reply was the same.

3. He then demanded to speak to her, in a sort of harassing tone of voice to speak to her, and I was forced to say that she was in the shower , which I find very personal, and I shouldn't have to divulge this sort of information to a person I do not even know!!!!

So as you can see from the statement above, this back and forth, happened 3 times.

He then snorted, and asked why I did not just say that in the first place. My response, why should I have to make this known if I told him that she was busy in the first place! He then put the phone down in my ear.

He made it a very unprofessional call, after I explained this situation to him.

This is his phone number, ***

Hopefully Woolworths can tracce the number back to him; sit him down and explain to him the rules of being professional .

AND another thing Woolworths, my mother taught me to answer a phone by stating my name for the person on the other end of the line. Perhaps your training of your people should inluce the same courtesy.

,
