ACCOUNT NOT CREDITED

I went to return an item at woolworths savannah instead of returning the money back into my account they debited my account they only informed me that the funds will be returned to my account within 48 hrs but they did not tell me to make provision for their debit, my cheque account is now overdrawn and it has a very negative impact on my cheque account with the bank. i called their contact centre and the referred me to the outlet, when i called the outlet the store assistants kept referring me back and forth.
