Absolutely disgusted at this level of racial profiling

This is the first time I felt like I do not want to shop at Woolworths again. My friend and I were just told by a cashier called Jocelyn at Woolies Tygervalley, that she would like to tell us something but we shouldn't take offence. We didn't respond to this and she proceeded to tell us she's been at Woolies for 7 months and noticed that it's only colored people who do not unpack their baskets. I then asked whether that is an expectation. And she said no no and that she didn't want us to be offended and make a big thing about it. WHAT?!? So, if you are colored there is an expectation for you to unpack your baskets yourself. If it was a trolley I would understand. But the expectation for me to hand over each item to be scanned?! Why don't I just scan it myself. Do people of other colour get told to do this? I am disgusted at this type of racial, backward profiling. I would not want to be attended to again by Jocelyn. Her closed minded, backwards mentality is insulting. I presume because I'm colored I should be grateful that I'm allowed to shop at Woolies so I need to unpack my own basket and probably pack my own bags too. Is common sense that difficult to apply? I told Jocelyn we do not see people as a colour we see people for who they are and that we are offended that she feels it is ok to tell us that. I expect an apology from Woolworths. I don't care what you do with Jocelyn, but I do request some training in keeping her uneducated views to herself and understanding that customers are not there to do her job.
