A lot of money for roses that only last for a couple of days.

I am writing specifically about the roses that I buy each week at Woolworths. They are becoming more and more expensive. They are supposed to last for at least a week, but recently they only last for a couple of days before the blooms start to literally rot. I am really not used to this.
