10 May Woolworths 2x grilled chickens.Queued ±30 mins waiting for chickens.No personnel advising of wait time.Chickens received, proceeded to queue No2 to pay ±20 mins.Cashier asked for a loyalty card.Tried downloading loyalty card previously; was cumbersome.2 previous occasions I tried 2 Woolworths stores for a physical loyalty card; was told there’s no stock, I must download.Told the cashier I tried before but not sure if I did it correctly. To no avail; I saw a friend who offered that I could use her loyalty card; cashier advised that it’s against company policy.I was asked to leave the cashier desk, go to an area of the store where someone else will help because there were customers wanting to pay. Went to the area where an employee tried to help with virtual card. We got far but each time it required an OTP; no OTP.Virtual card attempts took ±20 mins; no success.I wasn’t offered the choice to pay a non-loyalty price.Left the store in tears in pouring rain empty handed.The OTP arrived when I got home.
