Wonga is the best

I have been using Wonga for more than 2 years. They are fast, efficient and pay out is same day you apply. I love wonga, it has helped me in my dark financial days till this very day I can still say they are the best.

There is something I would like to ask. I will only receive my salary on the 19th of December.  I got an sms now to say my account is in arrears. I am so worried because I never miss repayments.  

I am so worried that it's going to affect me when I reapply on Friday again. 

Will they still debit again? 

And is it going to affect me negatively?

Hi Mmami,

It appears that you opted to have your December instalment deducted on 13/12/2024.

As we did not receive your payment, your account will remain in arrears until the 19th of December. There is no need to panic as we will continue tracking your bank account until the 19th and deduct your payment once you receive funds in your account.

The late payment will not affect your trust rating with us, however, please note that we can never guarantee approval on future loans as every application is assessed individually.

You may ignore the messages regarding your account that is in arrears as you have confirmed that payment will be made on the 19th, please do not make a manual payment but rather allow us to debit the account on the given date - 19/12/2024.
