Wonga *****

So I took a loan in December, January they handed me over to a company inalliance with reference number D*** and I arrange a debit order of R841 for 5 months, then Wonga changed the attorneys just when I was about to finish paying off to Htn attorneys, I keep getting smss that I’m not paying but I get debit every month. Both call centres are useless, I’ve been sending bank statements and emails. They not doing anything about it, and inalliance is still debiting, I really need this to be fixed. Stop taking money you can’t account to accordingly and update your systems

Hi  Keamogetsoe,

We're so sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Once your account is overdue for so long your account gets

handed over from one debt collections agency to another.

Your account was being managed by Alliance and is now

being managed by HTN attorneys as you app**** for a

pay day loan and agreed to repay in in 30 days.

Your account is overdue for 5 months and we can confirm that

we have received 4 manual payments of R841.00 for the months of

January, February, March and April.

A new repayment plan can be set up with HTN attorneys

and once your account has been repaid, will HTN

email you a paid up letter and have your ITC profile updated.

Thank you for your patience.

The Wonga Team.

But I’ve paid for 4 months, this month being my final month… why is it “overdue” where else you know my arrangement with alliance was ending this month. I should be getting a payed up letter, not you guys taking me to another attorney to want more money. I’m sorry I can’t have that, check your system. It says that I owe 855, and that’s that

Hi Keamogetsoe,

We understand you had a repayment plan with Alliance

but you app**** for a pay day loan that had to be repaid in full

in January. We're so sorry but cannot extract your account

from HTN back to alliance as Wonga has processes in place

that needs to be followed.

HTN will be in contact with you and you are more than welcome

to set up a new repayment plan with HTN attorneys.

Thank you for your patience.

The Wonga Team.

Hi Keamogetsoe,

Apologies for the length of time it has taken for us to respond.

The repayment plan made with Alliance will be disregarded and you will have to make a new repayment plan with HTN as your account is now handed over to them.

If you would like to continue with the repayment plan that you had with Alliance, kindly contact our HTN agents and the will gladly assist you.

Thank you for your patience.

The Team Wonga.

I’m going to take legal actions, prior to you guys saying my previous payments are being disregarded. I will not be paying anymore than I’ve paid. This is unacceptable, I’m not the one changing attorneys and milking money out of their clients, you guys are. You guys have terrible service and don’t account to money that is received by handover attorneys. Complete *******

Hi Keamogetsoe,

We have advised that your repayment plan with Alliance

will be disregarded and not the payments made.

All payments made to the debt collections agency will be

paid over to Wonga and will be deducted off your balance.

Please set up a repayment plan directly with HTN attorneys.

Kind Regards

The Wonga Team.
