Unacceptable

At 02h34 this morning I received an sms on my cell phone from Wonga, offering me a loan. Later this morning around 9am I called the cell number ***) that they had said I could call. The man who answered the phone had no phone etiquette and did not give his name. I asked where he got my number from and he said \eh

Thanks for your message. It appears that you have been contacted by the perpetrators of a **** impersonating Wonga. Do not engage with these messages or callers.

We do not engage in unsolicited direct marketing with consumers and the behaviour you have described in your message, is certainly not one you would experience with our team.

Apologies for the inconvenience, however the **** is something we have no control of. We are working with the police and have investigators following up on all message passed on by affected consumers.
