Terrible service and doesn't care about anyone!
Wonga is terrible and don't care about their customers at all! I have a loan with them. In the beginning of April I received a letter from my employer saying that due to the Covid-19 Lockdown I will only be working half day and I will also only receive half of my salary. I did sent the letter to Wonga but they are full of nonsense and for some reason doesn't want to accept the letter, then they started ignoring my e-mails! When the debit order went off I reversed the debit order because I explained to them I am not able to pay the full monthly premium because I need the money to feed my family, pay rent, but electricity and pay my water bills, but no they don't give a **** and they handed my account over to Blakes & Associates. I have always paid my debit orders on time, some months I even paid more than I should, but when I ask for help because I am really in a difficult situation they don't give a F*CK. I will continue to give them bad reviews and tell everyone how terrible they are until they give me a response.
We humbly apologize for the time we have taken to respond to your complaint.
We've reviewed your account and unfortunately the stamped letter from your employed we have received is dated 7 May 2020 and your debit order was due on 30 April 2020wev. However on 13 May 2020 you reversed the debit order that we collected on 30 April 2020 back into your account and your account was handed over to Blakes and Associates on 14 May 2020.We can confirm that there is an arrangement in place that you have made with Blakes and Associates to pay R303.00 and we have received the payment on 21 May 2020 via Electronic Funds Transfer. The arrangement will continue until all full outstanding balances are paid and your account will be updated when the full payment is received.
Kind Regards
