Tarnishing my credit profile

In 2013 November, I took a loan with Wonga Finance and the repayment date was December the 15th if i'm not mistaken. Due to a delay in my salary, the debit order was unpaid. The following day i made a deposit to repay the amount owed. On the 10th October 2015, i received a SMS stating that my wonga account has been handed over to VVM Collectors with a balance of R236.92. From December 2013 till now no one from Wonga nor VVM called me to inform me about my account which i was not aware of. When i called to enquire i was told the short payment resulted in the unpaid debit order and has since accumulated interest and it's currently at R253.69 . I called VVM again on the 12th October 2015 and spoke to a coloured consultant( i can't remember the name) to find out how to make the outstanding payment and he then forwarded me the banking details and the reference number. On the 15th October 2015 i paid the amount which was request. I then called on the 16th October 2015 to find out whether they received the payment and the lady by the name of Mbali Hadebe from VVM informed me that my account is no longer with VVM and they cannot trace my payment. PLEASE ASSIST ME AS I WANT ANSWERS( ANGRY).
