Security measures

<p>Today for the first time I tried to apply for a loan from Wonga.com. As I was about to submit my application , I got an error to say my details are on my system already. When I click on forgot password it says they don’t recognize my e-mail address. I then called their contact centre to seek further assistance .I am very sure it’s my first time coz I got an advice for a friend to use this service as she has been using it. The call centre agent was doing security checks with me however the contact details that I provided her was on their system but they have my ID number.</p> <p>The lady then said to me I need to go to the police station to do an affidavit and send it to them .</p> <p>Meaning that Wonga.com just accept every ID that someone enters without verifying anything just to make money with interest with our details.</p> <p>How do you give someone else a loan without doing any verification that the ID they have entered its theirs or not</p> <p>Now I have to waste my time to go to the Police for something that I have never done. This is not fair on me . I don’t have the time to go to the police station . I need this things to be sorted as soon as possible . I will write to the papers ,Ombudsman and everywhere to make sure my name is cleared without having to inconvenience me.</p> <p>Its’s not my fault that you gave someone else load with my ID number . This is a biiiiig ***** that Wonga did . A big one , damaging my name for nothing . Please sort out this mess today before I lose my mind and make sure I get to use the service fairly . I refuse to go to the police station because I work 24/7</p>
