Handed over after 1 month in arrears
Wonga handed me over after missing 1 month payment I got a short term loan from Wonga and unfortunately I missed a month and I was handed over to the attorneys. I made arrangements to make payment and I was shocked to receive a call from debt collectors. Legally it can’t be acceptable handing an account over for skipping a month. I’m escalating this via this platform to get you guys to reverse the debt collectors fee on my account as I settled the outstanding balance on the account on Friday and suddenly there’s an additional fee outstanding which I believe isn’t ethical.
Please note if my account and outstanding balance isn’t corrected soon i intend on escalating this to the ombudsman as this can’t be ethical and is definitely contravening the NCA.
