DISAPPOINTED
I had an account with wonga loans. So, with the payment plan I was suppose to pay for 3 months. What happened is that with the first debit order to repay my loan I unfortunately lost my job. I was handed over because I stayed for about 3 month without making a payment. I stayed for about 8 months unemployed, got a job the first to do was to repay my loan. Tried to apply for a loan with them. I was unable to log on app anymore

We are so sorry to hear about your experience and also the loss of your job.
Have you tried claiming on your credit life plan attached to your Wonga Loan?

We are truly sorry that we are unable to assist you during this difficult time.
We understand the challenges that come with losing employment, and we are genuinely glad to hear that you have since found another job. Unfortunately, the financial difficulties experienced during that period resulted in defaults that negatively impacted your standing with us.
As a registered credit provider, we are governed by the National Credit Regulator and are required to lend responsibly and ethically in order to protect both our customers and our business.
While we understand this outcome may be disappointing, we hope you can appreciate the position we are required to take. Please accept our sincere apologies and best wishes moving forward.
Kind regards,
Wonga Team
