Complaint against Wonga

I had a problem with my debit orders at the bank that resulted in Wonga not receiving the installment for March. I informed Wonga that I am in the process of resolving it and that they must send me the banking details for manual payment. Wonga responded via email indicating that Your Wonga loan is in arrears and your account has been handed to a Debt Collection Agency. In order to repay your loan please contact the following agency directly... how can a loan be handed over due to one payment that is behind. That is against the laws that govern credit and loan agreements in South Africa. I am very disappointed and will be taking this matter further with the relevant authorities. Disappointed!!!
